About the neighbourhood: Distrito Centro

Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

First time here and first time trying Venezuelan cuisine. It was the perfect match. We loved all new flavours and tastes. We ordered for the entries: Tajadas (my new favourite, so good), Tostones (interesting, good crunch), yuca (tasty!). And two arepas (one with pork and avocados and one - asado negro). All really really juicy and tasty.

Good service, very responsive, good reasonable prices. Also the interior design and music brings a very sweet Latin American mood. Very cozy. So I definitely recommend it, especially if you like trying different cuisines.

Budare Venezuelan Food is a great little spot in Málaga for authentic Venezuelan food. The arepas and cachapas are really tasty, portions are generous, and prices are fair for the location. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. It’s a small place and can get busy, but it’s definitely worth checking out.

The food is amazing!!! My dad liked it so much he even got a second main dish. Also the waiter is really friendly and polite. Decent outside seating in a more calm street!
