Dámaso Alonso Municipal Public Library is a public library located in the Jardín de Málaga neighborhood of Málaga, Spain. It offers free services including book loans, reading spaces, digital resources, computer access, and reading promotion activities for all ages.
Compact residential district north-east of the centre, originally laid out in the 1920s as a low-density garden suburb on the El Limonar–Puerto de la Torre axis. Today it's a mix of restored early-20th-century villas and post-war apartment blocks, organised around Plaza Mayor de Ciudad Jardín. The MA-20 ring road runs to the north. Connected to the city centre by several bus lines in 10-15 minutes; pedestrians can reach the centre along Avenida Jorge Silvela in around 25 minutes.

Despite its location, for a resident of the city center, it's well worth a visit. With its extraordinary exterior architecture, the interior is bright and comfortable for both studying and reading. It's very well-stocked with books and films, and above all, the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff are something that must be mentioned here.
Good neighborhood library. The only drawback is the location, which is situated at the very top of the neighborhood, making it quite difficult for older people to get around. It has two floors (children's section upstairs). The staff is friendly and the facilities are clean and pleasant. Currently (May 2019), they have opened a special study room separate from the library, where it is absolutely quiet until midnight (note that this is temporary due to upcoming exams, so you should check beforehand if it's open).
The library itself is fine, but please change the hours to non-interrupted; it's the only one in the neighborhood, for goodness sake!
A beautifully curated space where you can find a wide variety of titles and authors. The staff is very dedicated, especially José Antonio, who strives to bring culture and literature to the users through diverse activities such as the book club. Highly recommended. Congratulations and thank you.
