Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

The Fuente de Génova, located in the heart of Málaga, is a true architectural treasure! This stunning marble fountain, dating back to the 16th century, showcases intricate Renaissance design and is a beautiful focal point in Plaza de la Constitución. Its history and craftsmanship make it a charming spot to admire while wandering through the city.
Take a moment to relax by the fountain, enjoy the lively square, and snap some photos. It’s an easy stop while exploring Málaga’s old town and a great way to soak in the city’s rich history and vibrant atmosphere!
Strange location, which adds peculiarity to the monument. In a corner, instead of in the center of the square.
An absolutely beautiful square that's full of cafes, restaurants, and shops that you can visit and make purchases at.
Lots of different things to take photos of. The church tower from the near by cathedral can be seen from the west side of the square and can make for a great view.
Just an ordinary fountain in the plaza.
