Tough walk to the top but amazing views and a very welcome cold beer ! Nice staff and clean toilets.

A portion of olives costs 1 euro and they were the best I've ever eaten in Spain.

November 2024: absolutely stunning place to relax and reflect. Stunning views across Málaga. Bit of a steep climb to the top, but plenty of rest areas for those that need it. Plan to go early, pre-9am to avoid others! Small charge of €3.50 each to enter. Small cafe and toilet facilities available.

Prepare to climb! A lot🤭 The view and the fortress itself is worth every step you take.
Be aware of what you wear on your feet - it can be very, very slippery road especially on the way down.
Museum is small, but very informative and nicely packed.

Took a walk up to the castle, a steady climb but not difficult. Entrance to the castle and Alcazar only 2.5€ each for old codgers like us. 5.50 for youngsters. Paulicarus and Jorvic free. Decided to have a breakfast of coffee washed down with a cider. Very good coffee and refreshing cider. 12€ for two of each. Nicely shaded..must bake here in summer. Very pleasant in February.
