Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club

Fantastic course, challenging but fair. Played here years ago and was really keen to bring the group here (none of whom had played here before). Staff were great, facilities were clean and tidy. The only negative part of the review were the greens (particularly front 9) weren’t being repaired. Suggest some more enforcement from the Marshalls to ensure people repair divots. (Not technically a fault of the course but some more policing from them may make this a “must-play” course).

That being said, all of the group enjoyed it (quite a spread of handicaps/golfing abilities) and we’d definitely play here again in the future. 5 stars.

The Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club is one of the most impressive courses on the Costa del Sol for me. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the touch of Severiano Ballesteros, who designed this course in 1991 as his first golf course on the Costa del Sol. The philosophy of harmoniously integrating the course into the natural landscape has been perfectly implemented here.

Each hole has its own character and demands strategic thinking as well as precise play. The varied design, with spectacular elevation changes, challenging doglegs, and excellently placed obstacles, ensures that no round is the same as another. At the same time, breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, the mountains of Ronda, and the surrounding nature are offered on nearly every hole.

What is particularly impressive is how fair yet challenging the course has been designed. Both ambitious golfers and casual players will find it fully rewarding. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition, and the entire facility is maintained with great care.

The experience is rounded off by the friendly and professional team, as well as the beautiful clubhouse, which invites you to linger after your round. Anyone who appreciates golf, nature, and top-notch design should definitely play Los Arqueros.

Course in great condition. Would recommend to golfers of any level. Views are amazing on the course. Staff in the pro shop are wonderful couldn’t say enough good about them. Highly recommended

Beautiful and challenging course! The conditions could have been a bit better, but the greens were as soft and fast as they should be. Some areas without grass, but again not really affected the way the ball rolled on either fairway or green. And they worked on improving it, and gave us a greenfee discount without us asking, since they were aware of it.

Narrow course with exciting and challenging shots all around. I definitely recommend it.

This golf course is in a great condition. It had the perfect challenging holes that are very interesting to play. definitely top course in marbella. The restaurant to eat at after the game serves an amazing variety of food that tastes scrumptious. 10/10!
