Such a hidden gem in the heart of Mijas. The Museo Histórico-Etnológico is small but packed with fascinating exhibits showing how people used to live and work in the area, from old tools to kitchen items and olive oil making.
The atmosphere is peaceful, and the building itself is beautiful. Entrance is only €1, which is amazing value. Highly recommend stopping by.

Really liked this museum, very well kept, with lots of old equipment for making olive oil, wine etc. Some old living room and kitchen exhibit, and a cool courtyard with lots of plants, 1 euro donation 👍

What a fantastic and interesting little museum! In addition to the exhibits there is a beautiful well tended patio to admire. At only €1 entrance fee it is well worth a short visit.

Small but cozy. Very little in other languages than Spanish. Admission was only 1 euro per head so we used it to wait out the rain. There are some qr-codes with English content in PDF but no audio. But it is a small museum with a limited budget.
