Notary public in Málaga's Teatinos district, headed by Miguel Esteban Barranco Solís. Provides public deed services, inheritance advice, and legal consultation with free advisory on matters related to public documents.
A modern, mostly residential district built up rapidly from the 1990s around the University of Málaga campus. The area is grid-planned, with wide avenues, several shopping centres (including Rosaleda nearby) and large supermarkets. The university itself hosts more than 35,000 students, which shapes the local mix of cafés, gyms and student housing. Connected to the centre by Metro Málaga (line 1, terminus at Andalucía Tech) — under 10 minutes from Atarazanas.

I had an absolutely disappointing experience with this notary office.
They never answer the phone or emails, making it impossible to contact them beforehand. I arrived two hours early for my appointment to clarify some details and they gave me some information; however, when I returned at the scheduled time, they informed me that they were running very late and wouldn't be able to see me on time.
This demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism, organization, and respect for the client. This notary office is utterly disorganized, which is unacceptable for a service of this kind. Frankly, I can only give them the worst possible rating.
If you're looking for a notary office that lacks professionalism, treats clients with indifference, has little empathy, causes delays in all procedures, doesn't answer the phone, and has a receptionist who only seems to do you a favor by looking at you, this is the notary for you. And if you happen to get Alberto to handle your paperwork, you've hit the jackpot, because the best thing he can say to a client, if he even has time to speak to you, is: "I have nothing new to tell you."
We've been working with this notary office for over a year on a property purchase, and we still have paperwork stuck with them since November. They offer no solutions whatsoever. Of course, if you do it yourself, the process gets resolved quickly—a great way to throw money away.
The worst notary in Malaga! Too long a wait, lots of staff but very little efficiency. They take ages to process a document. We had an appointment and waited two and a half hours for us to sign a power of attorney. It's unacceptable. I've never seen such terrible service. Avoid them at all costs! I will never go back.
The receptionist was incredibly awful. She had no motivation, no idea what she was doing, and didn't even speak the language properly. Because of this, we had to go back several times. She kept saying we were missing a document that she had in her hands the whole time, but she didn't even bother to read it or look at it. Hire people who actually want to work or who can at least express themselves in Spanish. We live in Spain, after all.
