This place pretends to be more than it is. This is not a luxury property. The pool and pool area is very small – much smaller than it looks in photos. The hosts spend a lot of time in public spaces that are meant for guests. There are no mini fridges in bedrooms – not even to keep water chilled in the heat – you have to go to the main kitchen area.

Beautiful location and destination to visit. Susan, as well as the other staff, is extremely helpful and friendly. This is truly a gem to visit; the concept with the honesty bar and having your own mini-fridge is really top-notch. If we hadn't seen practically the entire area, we would certainly book again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

Suites del Mundo is a gem in the village of Alhaurín el Grande. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10-day stay there.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by one of the owners, Susan. We were given a tour, during which everything was clearly explained. To our surprise, a small fridge was reserved for each room in the shared kitchen, where we could store our own groceries. We found this very convenient. Additionally, there is an "honesty bar" where you can grab drinks to enjoy by the pool.

The room we had was spacious, beautifully decorated, and clean, as was the bathroom. The room was located on the first floor facing the street. Although cars drove past regularly, we were not bothered by it. The room was tidied up daily, but the cleaning seemed somewhat modest. For instance, mopping and vacuuming were not done frequently, which we only noticed during the last few days due to leftover sand and hair from previous days. However, this was not a dealbreaker for us. Susan is truly a wonderful hostess who is always ready for a chat and enjoys giving solicited and unsolicited advice about what to do in the region. We found this very pleasant. She really made us feel at home.

The pool area is lovely for relaxing and unwinding, with a soothing atmosphere.

As a guest, you can make use of the shared kitchen and the accompanying kitchenware. This is ideal if you don't feel like leaving early for breakfast, so you can prepare your own breakfast in the accommodation. We found this very nice as well.

As mentioned earlier, there is an honesty bar that guests can use. You can grab drinks here, which you pay for at the end of your stay. However, the drinks from the honesty bar are a bit more expensive than in the supermarket, so I recommend buying your own drinks and keeping them in your fridge.

The accommodation is located on a steep, narrow street. Because of this, you cannot always park your car on the street. The nearest parking lot is a 5-minute walk away, higher up the mountain. The stretch is very steep and I think it might be too tiring for some people every time. However, we were lucky enough to be able to park the car on the street on many days.

The village of Alhaurín el Grande is a nice and quiet base for exploring the surrounding area. All the hotspots are about a 30-minute drive away.

All in all, we had a wonderful 10 days. If you love a relaxing place, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, I would definitely recommend Suites del Mundo!

The property has been renovated with great taste and an eye for detail into a fantastic location. The rooms are super neat and the bathroom is good, with a nice shower. There are comfortable sunbeds by the pool, and the bar combined with the outdoor kitchen is cozy. Thanks to the excellent location, all shops and restaurants are within walking distance. My girlfriend and I had 5 wonderful days. Susan and Gailey are super friendly and always provide a suitable answer to all your questions.
