Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol

Place is enormous. Rooms are clean, with big balcony, little bit old style but not a big deal. Sea view in front and pool view from the back side.
Most of the workers are helpful and polite, except few of them.
Location is the best.

The good- Very ‘all inclusive’ feeling place with suites. Nice decor (ours was a signature two bedroom suite- renovated). Fully equipped kitchen, ‘warm tub’ and bbq in our garden. Kids club was a bonus for our daughter - she loved it. Staff are very accommodating and pleasant.
Nice pool areas and walking trails just behind the hotel. The location is close to restaurants in Frengirola - you can walk. The gym is decent. We had comfortable beds and nice linens. Little store to buy groceries is well stocked. Breakfast is decent.

The not great- Weird closing times - pools closed at 5pm!! I wouldn’t stay here again based on this. The private hot tubs - are not hot, and the jets turn off at 10pm- so you have a time limit on your own Hottub. The food is very subpar - fried everything, we had to venture out to get some fresh salads. They also don’t do room house keeping - we got towels changed as we were in a signature suite - but I am guessing others don’t.
Overall, we were happy with our room - but we booked the top option..

Staff were really friendly and helpful and all seem to enjoy their job.
Sylvia coto at kids club was really welcoming with my little girl.
Fabio And Danny at safari were friendly and got the feeling they work hard to please the guests.
Activities put on were good although it was quiet.
Restaurants where good.
Rooms where abit tired and need of a spruce up aswell as the pool at safaris

We had a wonderful stay here. The place has a unique safari-like atmosphere, which made the experience feel special and different from a typical hotel.

What surprised us the most was the breakfast. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, creating a very warm start to the day. The food was fresh, nicely prepared, and there was a wide variety to choose from. For €17 per person, the value was excellent.

Overall, a very pleasant experience with great service and a memorable breakfast. Highly recommended

this place is huge so bring a car. its gorgeous, spacious and very well kept. i know theres alot of angry people who've experienced some repairs and constructions, but those are done 👌🏻 the room we had were big, great Seaview too. a bit of an 90s vibe to the interior, but all hotels are like this from our experience. new washing Machine, dishwasher, freezer etc. things worked and we didnt come here to sit in our room but to experience the country.
the pool sides are lovely, good sunbeds with matrasses etc. sadly only one small pool is heated outside of season, which makes the bigger pools useless unless you like icebaths. the pool bar prices are just insane and off the chart.. noone wants to pay 6€ for a point of beer that in bars are like 3.. thats just nuts! but hey bring your own stuff and you're golden.

theres plads of activities for the kids, gym, sauna etc.

we joined in on a "learn how to make sangria" in the bar which was fun. the woman who taught, were enthusiastic and lovely 👌🏻
