We discovered this hidden, gem-like place thanks to a recommendation from another traveler.
We were on our honeymoon traveling through several regions of Spain, and among all the meals we had in Barcelona, Seville, and here in Málaga, this was absolutely the best.

To be honest, we had been struggling a bit with food in Spain, so being able to enjoy this restaurant on our last night in Málaga will remain one of our most memorable experiences.

We didn’t get his name, but the tall male server with curly hair who took care of us was incredibly professional and kind, and even recommended another great restaurant. His service truly stood out.

Among countless tourist spots, this place was exceptional. If I had to choose just one restaurant to recommend in Málaga, it would be this one — without hesitation.

The shrimp cooked in olive oil was outstanding despite its simple ingredients, the ceviche was extremely fresh and refreshing, and the tuna is an absolute must. The fried beef cheek was also a real specialty. Everything paired perfectly with the beer, and thanks to the attentive care from the server, the entire experience felt complete.

The restaurant is small but not uncomfortable, and I would recommend making a reservation in advance on weekends. The reservation process is also very easy.

This was among the best meals we had on a 3 week trip through southern Spain. The grilled octopus was perfectly cooked and very tender but the highlight of the meal was the red tuna. I recommend setting a reservation as the small restaurant became busy as the night went on. The service was also very good and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. Unfortunately we waited until our last evening in Malaga to dine here, otherwise we would have absolutely returned again.

If you want to try the best grilled octopus, you definitely should go there. We returned to Arrebato after few months and octopus was exactly as good as at the first time. It is really worth to travel 3500 km 😉.
But that's not the end. They have also amazing tuna and beef cheek.
So if you stay at Malaga even for one day, be sure to visit Arrebato, you will be satisfied.
The service is also excellent; we felt very at home, and we were even served some tapas that we'd had before but which had since been taken off the menu. Thank you Cristina! 🥰

We were extremely satisfied with our visit.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and seated right away. The staff was amazing — it’s rare to experience such excellent service nowadays.

As for the food, everything was perfectly prepared and full of flavor.
One of the best restaurants I have ever visited.

I highly recommend this place!

Excellent tiny taberna just on the edge of the busy downtown Málaga. My family and I came here to dine in the evening on the 1st of January. It was so good and scrumptious we came black for lunch on the 5th.

Service was excellent, with caring and hospitable smiling staff. A special shout-out the the young man who waited us on the 1st January dinner (I didn’t get a chance to ask him his name) and to Tina on 5th January lunch. You guys were great!

The menu is fusion tapas. You find some Spanish classics but also foreign influences (We got ceviche and arepa, both were 👌🏽). Iput the name of what we ate in the pics captions. All the food was freshly made. I’d definitely come eating here again if I return to Málaga!
