Great stopover for the afternoon on our way to Malaga for a late flight. It’s a good place to have lunch then lounge on the beach for a few hours.
Spanish lunchtime is a bit later than our French time (2-3pm) but we arrived at 1pm and were happy they were already serving (international crowd apparently).
Start with cava, its light and refreshing and when you’re used to French restaurant prices for sparkling, you can’t resist. Their cava by the glass was 👌
We ordered a few plates to share, they’re on the smaller side.
- The goat cheese salad came with a scoop of mango ice cream or something on it, very original, not for us but the rest of the salad was good.
- The eggplant was delicious, I had been wanting to try some version of this Andalusian staple and this one was excellent. Every other restaurant had some deep friend version I couldn’t touch, I highly recommend the eggplant.
- The tuna and tomato salad was good and light, nothing to write home about.
- The Russian salad was as expected
- The chicken wok was super salty, normal for a miso sauce I guess, inedible for us
- My husband loved his French toast
Our server was super nice and let me try my Spanish out, ask for olives with your drinks, they’re tasty 😉
