Bar la Herradura de El Palo is a traditional Spanish bar and grill located opposite the football stadium in Este, Málaga, serving local dishes such as salads with local fish, marinated anchovies, and sandwiches. The venue offers a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with attentive service, a good selection of beers and wines, and is popular for breakfast, tapas, and watching football matches.
The Eastern district stretches along the coast from La Malagueta beach to the village-like fishing quarter of El Palo. It contains some of the city's most distinctive areas: La Malagueta (urban beach next to the port), Pedregalejo (palm-lined seafront paseo, traditional espetos), El Palo (working fishing community and casual chiringuitos), and El Limonar / Cerrado de Calderón (residential hillside with sea views). Local buses 11 and 34 connect the entire strip to the city centre. The seafront promenade is continuous and walkable end-to-end.

Absolutely wonderful, during our stay of nearly a month at El Palo this became our ‘local.’ Having absolutely no Spanish was not a problem, the boys made us very welcome and really looked after us. They even gave us a going away party of sorts when we were leaving. Thank you again from Port Stephens Australia.
Delicious food and great value. Really friendly staff that were very understanding of our limited (non existent) Spanish. Really nice feel to the place. Would definitely recommend to anyone who comes across it, excellent.
A good Spanish pub with friendly staff. Good Spanish bar tapas food. Potato bravas was lovely have alahambra lager which the loveliest of all the lagers sit outside have beer and food watch Spanish footie and you won't be stung with a large bill
