Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

Awful customer service
One cashier is so rude and impatient. Their POS didn’t accept Apple Pay so I had to switch to a physical card. For some reason the POS declined it again although I obviously had cash. She kept rolling her eyes and tapped the POS aggressively telling me to do it as if I don’t know how to. Such an awful experience. Won’t be coming back to this branch for a while.
Walking and wandering are pleasant... while people slumber...
Yesterday we were early risers... and tonight the vigil has grown long...
The sweetest melodies resonate... and dreams come true...
The roar of the sea delights my ears... on its sands, I find solace...
Memories come and go... and with them, the days are sweet...
On the shore of a deep sea, we sat... conversing with the silent about fasting...
We praise the Lord for His blessings... and thank Him, the Most High, Lord of all creation...
Guided by a role model teacher... we strive to raise generations...
Our vacation has been long and continues to be... may it never end...
We traveled and journeyed to lands and cities... earning and seeking lawful sustenance...
Such is our custom with a group... who have preserved their responsibility in raising children...
So today, there is no worry or toil... and we emulate the steps of travelers and wanderers...
In the pages of history, we have written... stories filled with truth and imagination...
So sleep soundly, with a clear conscience... O you whose good deeds number a thousand Mithqal...
We love teaching as a profession and a craft...and with it, we boast to the mightiest of heroes...
My experience at this store was frankly disappointing. Yesterday afternoon (May 30, 2026), I went to buy a pair of trousers that were displayed with a 50% discount tag, clearly indicating a price of €14.99 on an item whose usual price is €29.99.
When I got to the checkout, the sales assistant told me the price was €29.99. I politely pointed out that the item was tagged at €14.99, and her response was that the promotion had ended. I showed her that the promotional tag was still on the garment and clearly displayed the reduced price. At no point did I argue or demand anything unreasonable; I simply pointed out what I was seeing.
What bothered me most wasn't the pricing error, since we can all make mistakes, but the way I was treated. The employee, a blonde woman with curly hair, responded with very little friendliness and a clear lack of manners. Far from apologizing for the mix-up or trying to resolve the situation professionally, she adopted an unpleasant and condescending tone that made me feel uncomfortable and as if I were trying to take advantage of her, when all I was doing was pointing out the price on the tag.
She finally agreed to charge me €14.99 for the pants, but she did it very rudely, reluctantly tearing off the discount tag and saying, "Well, look, I'm going to charge you €14.99, but just so you know, they're worth €29.99." The way she said it made it seem like she was doing me a favor, when the situation had arisen due to a mistake on the part of the store itself.
I left the store with a very unpleasant feeling. Not because of the price of the pants, but because as a customer I expect proper, respectful, and professional service. Pricing or promotional errors can happen, but courtesy and respect for the customer should always be maintained. I would have bought them for €29.99 if she had treated me well.
Without a doubt, what I'll remember about this visit won't be the purchase I made, but the lack of professionalism and the poor service I received at the checkout.
