Maravilloso, absolute treasure to find this gorgeous new library in this town!! I'm sure thanks to EU funds, it supported this lovely project. Wonderful to visit if you love libraries!!

Although the facilities are excellent, clean, and well-maintained, the opening hours are too short. But the worst part is the lack of empathy and courtesy shown by the staff: constantly banging on the windows to hang pictures during study hours, shouting from downstairs that carries through the glass, and a long list of other noises that are completely out of place in a library. It's a real shame.

A very bad experience, and it's not the first time this has happened. It's December, and they have the heating on throughout the library, except in the study room. After asking a librarian if she could turn it on, she said yes, but as has happened to me before, she didn't. I went down to tell another employee, who also said he would turn it on, but he didn't. I think it's a complete lack of empathy to have the heating on throughout the entire building except in the study room where people are sitting still for hours, but what's truly disrespectful is saying several times that they're going to turn it on and then not doing it. It's clear once again that the comfort of the staff is prioritized, but not that of the users.

The library states that it closes at 2:00 PM on Saturdays during the academic year; however, this is not the case in practice. At 1:45 PM, a staff member enters and begins to disturb students by lowering the blinds and cleaning up, and by 1:55 PM, they are already asking people to leave. Even just minutes before closing time, complaints arise because students are leaving "late" or because the cleaning process is supposedly taking too long, even though it is still within the official closing time.

I understand that the staff has a work schedule and wants to finish their shift at the established time, but if the library is open until 2:00 PM, it makes sense for the work organization to allow users to adhere to that schedule.
This situation is repeated in the afternoon shift as well. Although the closing time is set at 8:30 PM, they begin cleaning up and clearing the room around 8:15 PM. It would be desirable for the advertised closing time to be respected or officially adjusted to avoid confusion and inconvenience to students.

Located on Gerald Brennan Avenue, the town's administrative center, about 50 meters from the Centro Building, the Local Police headquarters, and the Mission Cross (the town's main transportation hub), this facility offers all the services expected of a local center, adapted to the needs of a growing population with a high percentage of foreign residents.

The services are accessible and easy to use, and if you have any questions, the staff demonstrates exceptional professionalism and customer service. While this is to be expected in a public center, it is still noteworthy and deserves to be highlighted.
The building offers amenities that make it a suitable place for studying, research, and even, if needed, temporary workspaces.
Regarding parking, the avenue is entirely divided into metered parking spaces, but all the surrounding streets offer a variety of free parking options. So don't be intimidated by the hills; everything is much closer than it seems!
