About the neighbourhood: Málaga-Este

The Eastern district stretches along the coast from La Malagueta beach to the village-like fishing quarter of El Palo. It contains some of the city's most distinctive areas: La Malagueta (urban beach next to the port), Pedregalejo (palm-lined seafront paseo, traditional espetos), El Palo (working fishing community and casual chiringuitos), and El Limonar / Cerrado de Calderón (residential hillside with sea views). Local buses 11 and 34 connect the entire strip to the city centre. The seafront promenade is continuous and walkable end-to-end.

(From a skateboarding perspective)

It’s a nice park for beginners. The lowest part of the pool is quite mellow and good for learning drop-ins, rock-to-fakies etc. or just chill around and skate it as a mini ramp if you’re an experienced skater. The coping is made out of steel and it’s the same everywhere in the pool, you can even grind it well without the need of wax.

The highest point of the park is like a half bowl, it’s nice to carve around and you can pump in it smoothly, but it could have been more symmetrical in my opinion. The half bowls is also kinda mellow and good for beginners.

They also have a bank that is almost as big as the half bowl and it is on the opposite side of the half bowl. So you could drop-in on the bank and do like a decent size air or big 50-50 around the half bowl.

The location of the park is also nice, relatively close to the beach and there is a lot of trees so you won’t die from like the heatstroke.
