About the neighbourhood: Cruz de Humilladero
Densely populated residential district just north-west of the centre, between Carretera de Cádiz and Bailén-Miraflores. It contains the main long-distance bus station, the wholesale food market (Mercado Mayorista), the football stadium La Rosaleda and several large supermarkets. The area is mainly mid-20th-century blocks of flats. Two Metro Málaga lines run through it, and the Cercanías commuter rail stops at Victoria Kent. The district is not a tourist destination but is well-connected to the centre in under 15 minutes.

The staff were incredibly unpleasant, practically ready to throw me out! I didn't like the pair of sandals the saleswoman suggested. She was incredibly condescending, telling me they were the best for adding my orthotics and that her customers only ever bought that brand!
I don't understand why she didn't offer me other brands. I only discovered them when I tried on the pair I'd requested from the brand she insisted on. I thought they were passable, but they looked awful on my feet—the imitation leather material looked more like linoleum. I waited for the saleswoman to tell her colleague that customers were arriving just before closing time! She also mentioned that she knew about shoes and insoles. Imagine my shock when her colleague came in, took the shoes away, and left me standing there! I really wasn't expecting such a welcome. I won't be going back. She's so disrespectful... the customer has no rights anymore. A very disappointing experience.
Well, there's little more I can say about these exceptional footwear sales professionals. It's a pleasure to shop there, they're very friendly and make you feel good. As you can see in the photos, I have problems with my legs and they always sell me what fits my foot, showing me models, and also at affordable prices since they sell very good quality. In this case, I bought two very comfortable pairs. Don't hesitate to visit them.
