CDS Property 2016 S.L

I have just sold my apartment in Marbella using CDS Property 2016 S.L and it has been a very good experience. Adam originally sold it to me from the previous owner some 10 years ago and as a purchaser I felt I got a very good deal and everything was made so easy. As the Owner when I decided to sell it was a no brainer to ask Adam at CDS Property 2016 S.L to handle the sale and again it was a brilliant experience. Within days he found a buyer and helped me with all the paperwork involved making it all a very stress free experience. Adam and the team are highly knowledgeable estate agents who communicated constantly with me the vendor and guided me through the selling process. I cannot speak to highly of them.

We bought a villa in Bel Air through CDS Property. Adam was the most helpful, friendly and professional estate agent I've ever come across.

Be careful with this agency!! They cheat and steal money. We have booked holiday house via
them for July 2025 in Marbella. Although the stay went well we have not received our deposit which we paid for the house and was to be returned after the stay (2000 EUR)!! We are trying to get it back for 7 months, first we were told they are sending it back, then our mails and calls stopped to be answered! We have taken legal action now, we will not let them steal our money!

We had a very disappointing experience with CDS Properties.

We entered into an agreement to buy a property where the land registry was not up to date. As a result, the bank valued the property at €165,000, while our agreed offer was €232,000. On the advice and assurances of the agent, we moved in under a rental contract while the owner dealt with the situation, with the understanding that this would be resolved by the end of September.

We gave the owner until the end of June 2025 — far longer than we were comfortable with — but even by that date, the legal issues had still not been resolved, and the purchase could not proceed.

Throughout this period, communication from the agency was limited. The only time we received consistent contact was when the rental deposit was due; at all other times, we had to chase for updates ourselves.

This process put our lives completely on hold for a year. We are in our mid-30s and had intended to start a family, but instead we were left facing uncertainty and stress due to how the situation was managed.

We’re sharing our experience to encourage others to make sure that everything is legally in order before entering into any agreement.
