Club de Tenis Sohail

As I stayed 5 months in Fuengirola, I was looking for a club to join private and group classes. Both were great! The 4 courts are in an excellent condition.

The owner Leo is really passionate about amateur tennis and cares about the members.

They even have a Fuengirola wide league and frequent tournaments that allows you to play a lot of matches with different players.

I really enjoyed the time there and would recommend it for Spanish and non Spanish speakers alike

Having never held a tennis racket, I decided that I wanted to learn to play tennis. My husband and I were planning to come to Fuengirola for two months so I contacted Leo whist still in the UK. We were both interested in group tennis sessions as well as some private lessons. Leo was incredibly helpful on WhatsApp and everything was easy to organise. We turned up and were able to join an existing beginners group.
Leo is an incredible tennis coach and a lovely person! He loves tennis and it shows. He is very patient and he wants you to succeed. The group lessons are great fun and full of lovely people. Everyone is very encouraging and no-one takes themselves too seriously - just a nice atmosphere. We were lucky to have lots of private lessons with Leo and they truly are invaluable!
I am making great progress from where I started and my husband, who hasn't played for many years, has improved a lot.
We will continue with tennis lessons at home but we are planning to return to Fuengirola later in the year. We will definitely return to Leo for more lessons and hopefully able to play much better.

A fabulous, friendly tennis club with good quality tennis courts and excellent coaching for all ages and abilities. Pickle ball courts also. Coaching in Spanish and English - excellent communication always. We did beginners group lessons and private lessons over a 2 month period coached by Leo Ramos, the club owner. Leo is a superb coach, friendly and patient and with infectious enthusiasm. It was always great fun and we improved a lot. We will return later in the year. Absolutely recommended for anyone interested in tennis, whether you live in Fuengirola or just visiting.

Great lessons for my kids (13 and 15). Amazing teachers, we have been very happy, the kids have enjoyed and learnt a lot. I highly recommend!

I’ve been with this club for 2months and couldn’t love it more! I’ve participated in their group training, league and tournament and have had so much fun. Last but not least, Leo is always nice and professional, always there to help and give advice. This is definitely my spotlight in Fuengirola!
