We enjoyed a fresh and satisfying seafood platter. The prawns and scallops were nicely grilled and full of flavor, while the octopus was tender with a lightly charred finish. The clams, simply cooked with olive oil and garlic, were surprisingly tasty and perfect for sharing.

However, the oysters on the seafood platter were too skinny to really enjoy. Overall, everything felt fresh and well prepared.
Specially recommend the grilled jumbo shrimp.

Asked for a recommendation from the waiter after being told that what we wanted to order had ended for the day. So he suggested a mixed plate. There was certainly plenty of food. Grilled prawns, scallops, octopus and a salmon skewer. All very tasty. It was a very busy lunch time and the actual service was slow and a bit hit and miss. Overall an ok experience but as can be expected in a popular and busy market, it wasn't great value for money. Probably should have ordered individual dishes and then we could have chosen what we received.

Food ok. Service chaotic. Overall pricy for what it is. The fried sardines with lemon were very good. The tuna with scampi on a skewer was overcooked. The salmon with scampi was ok, but nothing special.
We had to remind the staff 4 times for a bottle of water we had ordered, but to no avail. We gave up and cancelled it in the end. At least they didn’t forget the bottle of wine! We noticed other guests were brought the wrong drinks. On requesting the receipt I was told it wasn’t possible to be issued one, which is unusual. I took a shot of the pad screen instead. Can”t recommend eating here. There are plenty of better alternatives in Málaga.

This establishment is on the south east corner of the mercado de Atarazanas. Kitchen inside the market, where locals were standing for a lunchtime beer and tapas, seating outside on the pavement. Be aware there are many different restaurants along this pavement outside the market, and difficult to tell where one stops and the next starts! We ate local dishes freshly cooked that were lovely. Hot peppers and aubergines were two of them. Portions are big, and 5 dishes between two of us was possibly more than we needed. Price for these, the bread, the service (on the pavement outside) and a beer each, was 47 Euros, so not the cheapest! Service level faded slightly after the lunchtime rush post 3pm.

Avoid - trap for tourist: dishes on menu were 5€ to max 12€, waiter recommended seafood plate, we payed 65€! We complained, waiter told us plate consist of 8 single dishes, which was definitely not true! Then he becomed very rude! Avoid!!!
