About the neighbourhood: Distrito Centro
Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

The apartment is comfortable, well-equipped, and in a fantastic location. Our host, Diego, is incredibly attentive and friendly; he helped us with everything and gave us great recommendations. I had an amazing few days in Malaga and will definitely stay here again when I visit the city. I highly recommend it!
