Booked a "Walk With Donkeys". Met all the donkeys in the sanctuary and got to hear some of their stories. They are clearly very well looked after now. Enjoyed our walk. We were also well looked after with drinks and snacks! Very good experience. Would definitely recommend.

Very great experience. we walked the donkeys a little bit like 20-30 min walk, then we could meet all the Donkeys. They all have different characters, and gor an example one was pretty lazy, and another was very energetic. My mom, who loves Donkeys, loved the experience. Do recommend

We booked a tour and it was very educational. The distance wasn’t too long and perfectly manageable with a three-year-old who walked the entire way on his own. The groups were small, and each group was given a donkey to walk with.

The people there were truly passionate and shared a lot of information about the donkeys. The animals have a wonderful home and plenty of land to roam. Highly recommended for families with children.

Went for the long walk and an amazing Andalusian brunch. The food was superb, served on a terrace overlooking the donkey paddocks. The staff and volunteers do an amazing job looking after the many donkeys they have saved from neglect, along with others gifted to them to live their lives in sanctuary and with respect and dignity.

Wonderful, restful sanctuary for donkeys, with loving, caring volunteers. Would highly recommend a visit to this fantastic place for donkeys in the beautiful, idyllic countryside, close to La Cala de Mijas, southern Spain. An amazing aroma from the colourful wild flowers growing along the hedgerows secnts the warm air, With no government funding, Donkey Dreamland is fully reliant on donations, so do visit and leave a donation to support the purchase of food and veterinary bills. Oh, the donkeys are super cute too!
