Efecto Yoga Málaga

Efecto Yoga has made such a positive difference to my life here in Málaga. Cristiana is an excellent teacher and such a kind and friendly person. She is always aware of the individual needs in the group, offering modifications where appropriate. The atmosphere of the group is warm and welcoming and the classes are held in a lovely calm space. I always feel so much better after each class. Cristiana is also always happy to make the class bilingual, translating into English, if you are not yet confident in Spanish.

I wanted to make my body feel better and got a pass for myself and my husband. I thought the class was a little late (8:30 - 10 pm) but decided to try anyways. The studio was on the second floor of the building - we asked someone who was at the entrance as we did not see any indications on ground floor.

We were welcomed by Francis and instantly felt calm - he was kind, showed us in. In total, we were 3 students and he made sure that we all knew each others names before the session started.

It began with a little meditation, breathing exercises, and then a series of flow poses where he carefully guided us through. Great experience!

Will go back on a regular basis and recommend this to anyone really - even if you're just passing by. It's a great way to integrate a little healthy pause for your body and mind even if on vacation here. They provide yoga mats and meditation pillows for the sessions.

One of my favourite places in Málaga. Friendly atmosphere, great yoga classes and you can come in the morning or afternoon. Affordable prices too. Very good location in the city centre. Teachers speak in English too.

I have been practicing yoga with Cristiana, Mónica and Francis for the last 6 years. I highly recommend Efecto Yoga Málaga for the diverse yoga styles offered, which are adapted to different needs (Hatha yoga, yoga for kids, for pregnant women, etc.)
