This was an incredibly disappointing lunch.

We visited on a fellow traveler's recommendation, who also said to get the lunch deal for smaller portion. We ordered the vacio, solomillo cerdo, and an entrana a la brasa, with different starters. While the starters were good, and presentation and service were lovely, the entrees themselves were just disappointing. My husband had to work for ANY meat off his vacio. My friend initially enjoyed the pork but then paused to tell a story, and went back to very dried-out fillets. I rather had the impression that the lunch deal was to get rid of unwanted cuts of meat. However, in viewing other plates which appeared communal, we simply ordered wrong. But should that be a caution???

By the time we were done, and exhausted from our efforts, the dining room was busy and it was hard to get a server's attention for our receipt. My friend and I left while my husband waited, and he caught up with us 20 minutes later. :(

Two of us shared a platter of 20oz steak with fries and salad plus a bottle of Roble del Duero....absolutely excellent if you love meat! Very polite and friendly staff and good service. We arrived about 7pm on Sunday with our dog and there were no other customers but by 7.30 it was getting busy. Lots of space and nice interesting decor. We advised in advance about our dog and they said as long as he was good and didn't bark it was ok and we had no problems with him. The food and wine was really good and we will be back!

El Quebracho delivers an outstanding traditional Argentinian dining experience. We started with empanadas (often called pasties) and the provoleta — a round of oven-roasted cheese — and both were absolutely delicious.

For the mains, the pork knuckle was cooked to perfection, tender and truly fall-off-the-bone. It was without question my favourite meal during our entire visit to Málaga. We also ordered the salmon, which was a piece of art and cooked flawlessly.

Beyond the incredible food, the restaurant itself is beautifully designed, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The service was exceptional and truly above par. This is definitely a fine-dining restaurant, and you absolutely get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

We previously visited El Quebracho last year whilst on holiday in Benalmadena, we enjoyed the meal so much, we had to visit again this year. Once again, the meals were delicious.
The size of the portions are very generous, my wife and kids went for the 7oz sirloins (7oz in Spain must be different to our 7oz in the UK as they were massive) whilst I opted for the 350g Sirloin special.
The steaks are cooked amazingly well & great quality, however, following our previous visit, In my opinion, its worth ordering your steak one a level above what you are used to. We love our steaks medium rare, so ordered them medium and turned out perfect. In all fairness, on the menu, they have a pictorial guide to the level of 'Doneness'.
The atmosphere and décor of the restaurant is very warm and inviting. The staff are attentive and friendly.
The only thing that I thought cheapened the dining experience was the little plastic bags of condiments. If you want oil/vinegar etc, it should be asked for and served in a more appropriate way.

El Quebracho is a brilliant steak restaurant that our family love and would highly recommend. We will enthusiastically return.

Very disappointing experience.

I ordered my steak medium well, but the first one arrived completely overcooked, grey, dry, and tough. After politely mentioning it when the waitress asked whether everything was okay, I received a replacement steak. Unfortunately, this one was the exact opposite: completely raw and cold in the center, despite again being ordered medium well.
The pepper sauce I ordered never arrived. In addition, my original side dish of grilled vegetables was replaced with a salad I hadn’t ordered.
The service wasn’t rude, but it felt inattentive. Our wine only arrived after we reminded the staff, and when we raised concerns about the food, we didn’t feel that the issues were taken seriously.
What disappointed me most was the lack of any effort to make up for the experience. After two unsuccessful attempts at serving the steak as ordered, there was no discount, no complimentary drink or dessert, and no real apology. I paid around 30€ for a meal I barely ate.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on this experience.
