I've been buying from this flower shop for quite some time, and it's always been excellent: great service, high-quality flowers, quick turnaround… I've never had any problems. But what happened to me yesterday was completely unacceptable.

Having called three days prior (February 11th) to reserve a bouquet for Valentine's Day and make sure it would be ready in time, when I arrived they asked for an order number that they hadn't given me over the phone. Two employees, one a regular and the other a younger one, started looking for my order in two different notebooks; it wasn't in the first one, and in the second it was on a separate sheet from all the other orders.

To my surprise, my bouquet wasn't even ready. I ordered a bouquet for around €30, with white daisies, baby's breath, and two other types of flowers, and when I was already there to pick it up, they told me they were out of white daisies. The only white flowers they could offer were white roses or carnations.

Finally, knowing how upset I was, they whipped up a hastily arranged "bouquet" in under two minutes with three sad little white carnations and flowers I hadn't even ordered. To top it all off, they charged me €10 for something completely substandard, with some flowers that were eaten and brown.

I paid out of respect for the owner, who has always treated me wonderfully, but the service from the rest of the staff left much to be desired. I'd never had any problems before, but this experience has cost them a regular customer, who used to shop there two or three times a month. It's a shame that a florist with so much potential can ruin its reputation with such poor organization and service on a critical date like Valentine's Day.
