After booking a suite for 2 nights we were at first given a double room with two single beds and were told we should have requested the room. However we had and paid for it on Booking.com.
After speaking to he receptionist we were finally moved to a front room which was better… however the receptionist told me she thought our original room was better. The cleaner told me she finished at 5 but had to stay as we were changing rooms!!
The whole situation could have been handled so much better. Spoiled our time their and we checked out early.. only to find the room was now being sold for 109 on Booking.com… we paid 145
Me and my husband had an absolute wonderful stay here. Beautiful quiet hotel that feels like little paradise on earth. Staff friendly and relaxed. Food was amazing and the pool area very relaxing too.
Truly a hidden gem, and a place we will be back to for sure. Location and views are amazing, and there are cozy common areas with fireplace, games and pool table.
Very romantic and relaxed atmosphere. Staff were friendly but often hard to find, perhaps because of being understaffed during low season. Huge plus for being dog friendly and no pet fees! Breakfast was great as well, and don't miss out on the short hike (1.6km) up to the Vista point of the snow peaks.
I love this hotel - it’s at the top of a mountain and the roads to get there are wide and easy to navigate. Our room has the best view. You can take a long walk right from the hotel through the piney woods. The food there serve at the restaurant is top notch. We became obsessed with oxtail ravioli there and I’ve been dreaming about it since we stayed there 6 months ago!
