Museo Interactivo de la Música Málaga is far more than a museum - it is an enchanting sanctuary of sound hidden in the historic heart of Málaga. Set within an elegant 18th-century palace, this unique cultural gem invites visitors to step into a living world of music, where history, creativity, and emotion resonate through every room.

Inside its atmospheric halls, rare instruments from across the globe tell stories of distant cultures and centuries of musical evolution. Yet the true magic lies in its interactive spirit: here, music is not kept behind glass. Guests are encouraged to touch, experiment, and play - transforming from observers into performers as melodies echo through the beautiful historic spaces.

A visit to Museo Interactivo de la Música Málaga feels like an intimate dialogue with music itself - an exclusive, immersive experience where every note becomes a personal discovery and every corner inspires a new harmony. 🎶✨

One of the nicest museums I have been to in a long time.

Very well organized and when you follow the fixed well sign posted route you see a lot of instruments.

In the red zones you are invited to play the instruments and when you do you will find out that all that air guitar or air drumming is nothing like the real thing.

There is a rooftop terrace and at regular times flamenco performances in a small theater.

Very cool museum for going with the kids and see different musical instruments and play with them.

Every Saturday at 12 they have a theater for kids which is highly recommedable in this world flooded by AI.

Such a lovely way to spend a couple of hours with kids. They tried every instrument and learnt loads about musical instruments from around the world. A lovely thing to do on an afternoon in Málaga.

I was expecting a little more about this museum. The QR code gave us audio guides but only in Spanish..
Not many explanations about the instruments (dates, when they were played and when and the specific names were not showed sometimes). I have done musicology studies so I was expecting to learn things and to see the exact terms
