Strange experience.
My son and I collect Hot Wheels. I was looking at the stand, and we had the pieces they had. But when we went to pay, behind the counter, I saw a complete box of the new ones (you could tell by the box number). I politely asked the girl, without mentioning the box, if they had any new releases, to which she curtly replied with a simple "NO." I understand that box was reserved, something that several businesses around here often do: reserve items for people who hoard them and then resell them. It's just a guess, but she wouldn't even let me take a look.
