The lovely lady who greeted us was vibrant. We were greeted with enthusiasm and warmth. The bar has a real family feel and the atmosphere was comfortable and easy going. There was live music indoors and the outside area felt chill but full of good vibes. The tapas were incredible and the bar staff were very attentive and kind. Very authentic Spanish run bar, would recommend to anyone seeking a real Spanish feel.

It saddens me to leave this review as I left a five star on in February. I booked Fuengirola for my June holiday ONLY because of my February experience here, unfortunately I was not met with the same level of friendliness this time around. Feb was amazing, upbeat friendly, welcoming, great ladies I met. However this time around, I was met with two gentlemen that was not welcoming at all, I felt more like an inconvenience, 5 euro for a tinto, but not offering of a tapas at all. I tried to question this but they couldn't speak English and my Spanish isn't the best (that issue is on me as I'm in their Country). The ladies i met in Feb were the only reason I came back and told everyone I met to come here.
Such such a shame. I came here four consecutive days of my two week holiday, but gave up as service was horrible. Maybe because I'm a solo male traveller? I don't know. I will be back in Fuengirola in Sept and will try one more time. Please learn from this.

What a beautiful authentic bar, hidden down a back street. We were welcomed in and felt at home by the friendly staff. Good music, nice atmosphere and drinks a plenty. The best places are always in the back streets

We stumbled upon this bar and what a little gem, great service, we ordered a small beer and it also came with free (gratis tapas) and what lovely tapas oh and not forgetting the free shot of lemon cello. 2 tapas, 4 halves of beer and 2 lemon celllos just 12 euros. It is a local bar what welcomes visitors.

Absolutely the most random and wonderfully unhinged artistic bar where I have been, there are birds and tortoises! Free tapas with every drink (I didn't try any) and they welcome you like a long lost friend with the Andalucían hospitality that is now days so hard to find. For once I didn't feel like guiri intruding into Spanish space. Thank you! A must visit place.
