MedPlaya Hotel Bali

Excellent location around 10 minutes walk to the big park nearby with a lake, animals and two play parks. 5 minutes walk down to the beach and around 15-20 minutes to the marina.

Rooms and hotel clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely view from our balcony and we were placed away from the entertainment so was nice and quiet. The room was very hot however when I asked for a fan a fan was delivered to my room almost instantly! Very impressed.

Food at the hotel mostly changed except for the children's food. Not much option for them sadly. Overall the food was ok. Highlight would be the fresh fruits available they were delicious and nice to see fresh being served rather then tinned.

Only 4 stars due to not getting breakfast the final day and they don't offer a picnic to take to the airport, and the children's selection of food.

Excellent location 5 minutes from beach and 10 minutes from marina.
Rooms are small and modern and were good for what little we used them. Only complaint, No drawers and the shower was very weak. Air-conditioning was also poor but worked to a degree.
The Breakfast was adequate the sausages and eggs always looked undercooked. The sunloungers were the worst I've ever used. Most were broken and none reclined. Definitely need replacing. The sun loungers at the beach were €8 which reclined and had a big mattress also included wifi and toilet
The Hotel did offer a curtesy room for late flights. Which did have a really good powerful shower and lockers were available for €2 to store cases.

Our family have just returned from a week stay at MedPlaya Bali and have honestly had an amazing week. The staff are so so friendly and they were absolutely superb with our 3 year old daughter. The food was lovely and the drinks on offer at the bar were great. Evening entertainment was fantastic each night and the kids disco/activities were loads of fun. Special mention to the blonde barmaid (didn’t catch her name) who worked at the bar during the day as she was so friendly and great with our daughter. Think it may be the best hotel staff we’ve ever had. I’d say the only minor complaint we have is that the kids swimming pool was so so cold that it put our daughter off going in, but that’s most likely due to the time of year (February) than the hotels fault. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Just back yesterday from a lovely week. Only downfalls were the lifts as one was not working for a lot of our stay and constants queues as they are small....one day queued for 25 minutes; only one toilet by the pools which did not seem to be monitored throughout the day and rapidly became unhygienic; pizza, pasta and not much else for kiddies who are fussy eaters and last but no least cardiac hill which is not the hotels fault but completely exhausting with a pushchair! I would definitely stay again as rooms, pools and area all good x

Everything you need for your family holiday. The hotel is clean , has 4 pools ,bars ,restaurants, entertainment every night , beautiful sea view , big spaces, gaming room, parking , very friendly and attentive team. Litterary walking 2-5 mins to the beach and most bars and restaurants. Food was lovely and you have big options.
Definitely recommend if you looking for place where you and your kids can have things to do. Kids pools and playgrounds are available. It’s amazing! Makes everything so much easier.
