Monumento a la Peseta is a public sculpture located on the Paseo Marítimo in Fuengirola, created by sculptor José Gómez Guerrero. It commemorates the Spanish peseta currency used before the euro's introduction in 2002, and was Spain's first monument dedicated to the former national coin.

My favorite coin on the Costa del Sol 🥰 Sandy beautiful beach nearby and plenty of various restaurants and bars make this place just perfect 🤩
Busy-busy street along the sea. There is a good choice of bars and restaurants on the street but more expensive ones. Make sure you choose carefully the review before step into the restaurant!
Fuengirola has great wheelchair access and the promenade is level with dropped curbs and plenty of cafes and restaurants to stop off for refreshments. Accessible auto toilets every 500m on the beach accessed by path.
Was at the market in Fuengarolla, good big market, prepare to haggle. I find the best time to visit a market is an hour before it closes.
