Mum Nerja - Restaurante Indio

The best meal I had in all of Spain! Everything was so flavorful and delicious. The lunch special was a great deal and our server was friendly and attentive. If I could rate this place higher, I would. Definitely recommend it.👌🏽

Mum is a great restaurant to try in old town Nerja. It's deceptively big, with a large amount of seating in the back of the restaurant. The staff are very knowledgeable about the food, and will try to accommodate everyone's palette. They have a good sense of humour which adds to the experience. Every dish that came out was delicious, and they recommended different types of rice to go with each curry, and they were right - trust their choices. The naan was very tasty and still tastes great the next day, because you will definitely be taking some of your food home. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the washrooms, unfortunately. I'd recommend, if you can, to hold it until you get home.

Without a doubt, this was the best Indian meal we had during our time in Spain.
We were genuinely surprised at just how tasty the food was. Every dish was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and everything we ordered was spot on. It tasted so authentic that it honestly felt like we were back home enjoying a proper Indian takeaway..

We had two young babies with us and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating which made the whole experience even better. Everyone was really friendly, the service was quick and whenever we needed anything, it was brought over straight away.

I’d 100% recommend Mum to anyone looking for great authentic Indian restaurant in Nerja. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re there!

We visited Mum as a group of five girls and absolutely loved it! We all ordered different dishes to share, and every single one was amazing—we honestly couldn’t choose a favourite, they were all delicious. The chef’s recommendations were fantastic and definitely worth trying.

We started with poppadoms and three dips, and were offered a complimentary shot of Baileys or limoncello to finish, which was a lovely touch. The atmosphere in the back outdoor seating area was great, the service was excellent, and everything was very reasonably priced. Highly recommend if you’re in Nerja!
