About the neighbourhood: Distrito Centro
Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Coffee was decent (extra shot option). ‘Energy toast’ was well presented (eggs a bit dry for my liking and could have been hotter). Place was pretty quiet and vacuuming loudly when eating felt a bit unnecessary. Maybe I just picked a bad time.
food portions are big (especially for salads) and quite cozy place with interesting menu. unfortunately, got a surprise of raw chicken. all meal was ruined. got an explanation which we never heard in our lives - chef wanted to make it juicy so cooked for a bit shorter period. so maybe next time it will be raw just to have a full flavour of chicken. it would be easier to admit the mistake than to give such an explanation for customer which worked in restaurants themselves 👌🏻
Great place for Brunch. If you are more than 4 please make reservations. I ordered classic Benedicts and were delicious. Great place to chat with friends.
