About the neighbourhood: Cruz de Humilladero

Densely populated residential district just north-west of the centre, between Carretera de Cádiz and Bailén-Miraflores. It contains the main long-distance bus station, the wholesale food market (Mercado Mayorista), the football stadium La Rosaleda and several large supermarkets. The area is mainly mid-20th-century blocks of flats. Two Metro Málaga lines run through it, and the Cercanías commuter rail stops at Victoria Kent. The district is not a tourist destination but is well-connected to the centre in under 15 minutes.

I cannot thank Consuelo at AnimalVision in Málaga enough for the incredible care she has given to my little Chihuahua Teddy. She has truly been Teddy’s guardian angel. When his eye was at serious risk due to an ulcer turned into a serious infection, with her determination, skill, expertise and tireless care, performed what seemed impossible and a miracle and saved it. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond never giving up, even when things got disheartening with many set backs. Her patience, and extraordinary skill have made all the difference in Teddy’s healing journey. No matter how complicated things became, she kept focused on healing his eye and at the same time giving me tireless support with my ongoing questions and concern.
For me, that kind of dedication is priceless. Knowing he has been in her hands has given me strength through this worrying time. It is rare to find someone so committed, so thorough, and so genuinely caring. I feel deeply grateful to have such an outstanding vet and the fabulous team at Animal Vision looking after him.
Teddy and I will forever be thankful for her dedication, she truly is exceptional, and I could not recommend her more highly.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Consuelo for giving my Teddy your all, Carmen for being a caring anaesthesiologist, making sure he was safe during operations, Lidia for always smiling and being courteous at reception and Fidel, you are all an amazing team of professionals.

The clinic was extremely helpful and professional. They answered all my questions and provided further preventative care for my dog. I am glad my vet recommended this eye doctor. Thank you!

Very clear explanation from the vet I saw, backed up by written instructions. A very pleasant experience. My consultation fee was €70, unlike other prices quoted.

I am not happy with my experience here. My dog has cataracts, I took her first when she was barely 3 months old and after paying 125 euros for a check up, they tell me they will call me after they have spoken to the head vet about her condition, (who in my opinion should have been there in the first place) ... They never called me and I had to chase them to call me back at least 3 times because they kept forgetting. Eventually they tell me she is too young and I need to bring her back after 6 months, this is not ok, if she is too young then they should have told me that before charging 125 euros because anything they find will be too early in age to fully diagnose.

I went back after 6 months and again the head vet is not there, they do the same tests and I get a better diagnosis this time but they say the same, they will call me back after consulting a specialist (which I do not understand why he is not there for my dog AGAIN in the first place) they again don't call me back, when I call them again, they say they are busy and that when they called it went to answer phone but they didn't bother to call back because they are very busy!

My dogs cataracts would have cost an estimated 1500 PER EYE and these people told me they were too busy to call me back?! I'm sorry but that is just not good enough for me, they gave me no confidence at all. I will be taking my dog elsewhere.
The vet who I was dealing with in person there was very kind and polite, I will give her that, but everything else is not ok for me. Malaga needs more options for animal eye specialists.
