Excellent for beginner hiking, you can definetly spend a whole day here walking the mountains enjoying the stunning views over Nueva Andaluz, Estepona, Marbella. On clear days Gibraltar is easily visible and further to the horizon one can spot Africa. It is also possible to take shorter hikes here for just a couple of hours. The paths differ in quality but no special trekking shoes needed.

By accident we found this cafe one evening in a secure kids playground area close to the Gran Benahavis Hotel. We ordered some tasty burgers and french fries as well as something cold to drink; it also saved having to walk up the steep ish hill in the heat to the village centre. Very cool.
This very well equipped park is a real gem, nestled in between the rocky mountains surrounding Benahavis. It's clean and large with a snack booth for kids and parents alike. Definitely check it out!
A playground in Benahavis is a great place for a day out with children. A great place to bring a bike or scooter, to have picnic, practice golf with kids in Polideportivo nearby.
