Had taco de loma, pil pil, BBQ mix for two. We were 2 adults + teenagers.

Remember to take cash, no card payments.

A place to visit during your stay. Walkable grom Los Pacos but some uphill on the way there. Taxi, by car or scooter the easiest.

This is truly a special find. We have been coming here for over 2 years now and have nothing but wonderful things to say about it. From the views to the food, the atmosphere to the music at the weekends…everything is perfect and very Spanish, but the owner and staff are what make the restaurant our happy place. Such lovely people who take great care of you and are always friendly and happy.
La Retama is a wonderful find and we almost don’t want to make a review so we can jeep it to ourselves!!

We went yesterday 13/06/25 , a walk down from Mijas. We arrived at 1130. It said it was open , but a sign on the locked gate implied that it was only open September to May. Please clear this up and post the correct details on your site.

Great place when in need for a break whilst hiking in the mountains.. Had a large beer in the garden and even at a very affordable price.. See you soon again..
