A modern, mostly residential district built up rapidly from the 1990s around the University of Málaga campus. The area is grid-planned, with wide avenues, several shopping centres (including Rosaleda nearby) and large supermarkets. The university itself hosts more than 35,000 students, which shapes the local mix of cafés, gyms and student housing. Connected to the centre by Metro Málaga (line 1, terminus at Andalucía Tech) — under 10 minutes from Atarazanas.

Good pitch, needs renovation
The pitch wasn't bad, although it had some patches; the worst thing was a goalpost that didn't stay in place properly.
I watched a friendly match between two age groups from the same club and was enjoying the football until a trial player from the higher age group punched a player from the lower age group. That stopped being football. I hope I never see that young man wear the club's shirt again; he's not a sportsman. He'd be better off taking up boxing. I trust the club will take action and this situation won't happen again. It's unpleasant for spectators and fans.
Very good pitch, several perspectives and stands to watch the matches from different places...the bar has everything at good prices and the staff are very friendly, plus there is plenty of parking outside and another very large flat area in front where you can also park without any problem.
