A small print and art workshop ( two rooms) displaying a range of contemporary prints and sculptures and holding artist exhibitions. We found this via google maps and ventured up the stairs to be greeted by the manageress who was a lovely person to chat to . We were invited to her exhibition of Madeleine Edbergs original art on the opening evening and enjoyed our visit very much.

Great local art studio and gallery. A fun challenge to find but oh so local. We loved our visit. Support local artists.

Hidden away in a narrow street in the historic centre of Malaga is a delightful art gallery and workshop dedicated mainly to prints and printmaking, called Gravura.
Founded in 1979 by internationally known artist and printmaker Paco Aguilar, and run by Marian Martin and Inma Carrasco, the gallery is a must for anyone interested in engraving of all types, plus the techniques used. There’s always an exhibition by individuals or groups of artists on the walls, plus portfolios of affordable prints. They also run printmaking workshops for those who want to try their hands at this fascinating art. An oasis in the centre of the bustling city, well worth a visit.

Gravura is situated in one of Malaga`s beautiful old buildings in the narrow walk streets of the city. The professional teamwork between Inma & Marian along with the remarkable art that is produced by Marian´s husband Paco Aguilar & the exceptional exhibitions that the gallery has shown over the past 35 years has earned Gravura a high position in the Malaga contemporary art scene.
The gallery specialises in prints & printmaking but exhibits local, national & occasionally international artists.
Gravura is unique in that art is produced in the gallery, there is a constant aroma of ink on paper & the printing press that stands amongst the exhibits creates a perfect environment for viewing & acquiring art.
A must for the art lover when visiting Malaga.

My favourite spot in Málaga. Warmly recommended. Beautiful art, nice and friendly staff and and opportunity to see how it's all done in the heart of Málaga.
