We visited in February. The area had flooded in the fall. Now, almost everything is back to normal. It's a great place for a picnic and walking the dog. We couldn't walk far upstream because of the mud, but that will change very soon. There's plenty of parking, and everything is free. It's a great place to go!
Good spot for picnics, but barbecues are prohibited from April 15th to October 15th, 2023.
Some barbecues are in poor condition. The restrooms smell awful, but at least they're there. And there's parking.
Nice spot, but the facilities need improvement. The tables and grills are fine. There's water, although one fountain was covered when I was there. More trash cans are needed.
A very shallow river flows underneath, and there are also grills and tables. However, they cannot be used at this time of year due to the high temperatures, as a fire prevention measure. If you have a pet, you can bring it along and enjoy a bit of nature.
