The Mirador Puente Nuevo de Ronda (New Bridge Viewpoint) is one of the most popular and iconic viewpoints in Ronda, offering a classic panoramic view of the Puente Nuevo spanning the El Tajo gorge. The viewpoint itself is generally free to access, and no ticket is required to stand at the upper viewing areas and take in the landscape.
If you want a similar perspective but from a lower elevation—closer to the gorge—you can walk down the nearby streets and paths leading toward the valley. These descending routes allow you to see the bridge from below and experience its full vertical scale, with the arch rising dramatically above the cliffs.
Another excellent nearby viewpoint is the Mirador de Aldehuela, which offers a slightly different but equally impressive angle of the bridge and gorge, often considered one of the best photographic spots in the city.
For a more immersive experience, you can continue further down toward the base of the gorge, where walking paths provide a ground-level perspective of the Puente Nuevo’s structure. This contrast between the upper viewpoint and the lower paths gives you two very different but complementary ways to appreciate Ronda’s dramatic landscape.
