This trail has incredible scenery, but unfortunately, a recent fire has taken a serious toll on the hiking path. The last two miles were particularly challenging, with fallen trees blocking the way, making navigation quite difficult at times. Despite the current state, I can only imagine how stunning it will be once nature has had time to recover. Looking forward to returning when it’s back to its full glory!

271 total reviewsNice and quiet walk through the forest. A couple of trails to choose from but for that you need to walk for some time or drive the car in - during the winter season it is allowed. Dogs and kids enjoy it as it is not a hard trail, more following along the road.
Beautiful hiking area. Found some fresh thyme and rosemary on the way. There was loads of sage as well but unfortunately not edible. This area is quiet and peaceful with a couple of abandoned houses. It’s easy to get lost here as there are barely signs along the road. I would recommend you to find a local to guide you around
Lonely hiking area. Easy to walk and most of the tracks are below trees, which makes it walkable also on hot summer days
Beautiful place for walks and mountain bike rides. Peaceful and clean. Do watch out for the huge piles of dog 💩 though.
