I've used this place for many years and seen many owners or managers come and go...I've used it regularly this last year and was the best so far .. UNTIL this month ..No idea if the cook / chefs has changed but the quality of the chicken serranito I alway get has got worse and worse..Today was the worst and I think the last time I will use it ..The decaffeinated coffee I ordered was full caffeine, The chicken in the serranito was over cooked or cooked and re heated as it was paper thin ,Dry and chewy ..The sarano ham that's cut into small bits was so little a vegetarian could eat it , And when I looked for the green pepper all I could see was something black the size of a pea ,but was skin from a green pepper..But so small if it was in your eye it wouldn't bother you ..I showed the owner ? Manager ? Who said it's under the chicken so we looked and No green pepper..So he took it away and when he came back I checked again ..This time it was twice the size of a pea ..Black and only the skin of the pepper ... Definitely the worst serranito I've had in 26+ years .. Perhaps a change of cook ? Perhaps greed and they want to sell less for more ? ..But it's not just today ..it's been the same for the last month or more , Pity I liked that place but won't pay high prices for missing green pepper, hard to find sarano ham, Chicken cut so thin I could see through it , But was still so dry ,hard and chewy, Not to mention the coffee they got wrong..I ordered a decaffeinated coffee and got full strength with caffeine as taste and my rapid heart beat confirmed ..You can fool some of the people some of the time .But not all the people all the time , Treat your customers like this and your bar will soon be empty...I for one won't be going back..I will go to Fuengirola or Mijas where they know how to make a good Serranito...
