The food is very good! Their Tuna with Manchego and cherries is very good.. I also had the tomato sallad with tuna (Tomato castellano aliñado) to start and the duck to follow. The duck with sweet potato and pineapple was absolutely amazing! Food looked very appealing and tasted beautifully. I was told I could only have a table outside, since I didn't have a reservation, but as a Norwegian, I'm quite happy being sat outside in a relatively quiet side street in Marbella in July. The service is just friendly and attentive enough. Well worth a visit!

Such a great night – and I was starving!

Walked in hungry, and within 5 minutes, my Padrón peppers showed up. Perfect timing. They were salty, not spicy at all (just how I like them), and went so well with my red wine – Pago el Espino 2024. While I was still munching on the peppers, my grilled octopus arrived, served by Miguel with a big smile. It was super soft and chewy, and that combo of orange and white sauce? Exactly right for my taste.

Then came the San Sebastián Basque cheesecake – so good. Loaded with pistachio on top, really soft, and not too sweet (my kind of dessert). Came with caramel on the side. Yes.

Before I left, I asked Ale what wine I was drinking. He explained it's one of the best reds from the south. He tried to get me to try a northern one, but honestly? I told him I prefer the south – just a touch of sweetness, perfect for me.

Also, Ale recommended the Flamenco show from June 8 to 14 – definitely checking that out.

One tiny thing to improve:
The bathroom could use a little tidying up. No big deal, just something to note.

Overall? Barely any wait, great food, even better service. Miguel and Ale took good care of me. Left full, happy, and already thinking about going back.

A fantastic traditional Spanish taberna in Marbella. The food is full of authentic flavor, from perfectly cooked dishes to fresh local ingredients. The sangria is outstanding—refreshing, fruity, and beautifully balanced. Warm service and a lively atmosphere make this spot a must‑visit for anyone wanting a true Spanish dining experience.

It’s a nice and cozy place in the old town, the service was great, I was seated almost immediately and the food was out quickly. The tapas were okey, nice but not amazing. Wine selection was good too.

I waited two months to get a reservation, and honestly, it was absolutely worth it! I had high hopes for this place since it’s one of the few—if not the only—spots offering a menu that really stands out from the rest. They break away from the usual tapas (which are delicious, but can get repetitive after a while).
Not only was the food truly incredible, but the service was top notch. We were attended to right away, and the waiter clearly enjoys what he does—always attentive, making sure we had everything we needed, instantly refilling drinks, and offering amazing recommendations.

We had grilled octopus, ribeye with peppers and potatoes, steak croquettes served with chocolate sauce, and wagyu “fake nigiri” with quail egg. Each dish was better than the last and also they all came with a little show and explanation about it which was really interesting —I’ve never tasted anything like it. I highly recommend it and we’ll definitely be back!

We had 4 beers and an Aperol Spritz to drink. The total was €110 , including a 15% tip.
