I have just moved to Malaga from the Netherlands and I needed to pay a few impuestos for NIE application and other paperwork. I have been to a few banks, but nowhere they could process my payment because I don't yet have NIE. At this bank office they were not only able to process my payment, but also did this very quickly and in a very friendly manner. The staff also speaks English.

An elderly person went to ask for help with the ATMs from the person at the first table you come across, and this person responded very rudely and didn't even bother to get up and offer some basic human assistance to an elderly person. Unicaja is getting worse and worse.

My problem with Unicaja bank: I made two deposits in two separate but consecutive weeks. One at Cala de Mijas, where the ATM malfunctioned, and when it was opened, €15 was deposited less than the amount I needed. The other deposit was at your bank; the ATM retained €60 and gave me a slip stating that one or more bills were blocked due to suspected counterfeit currency. I obviously complained, and they opened the ATM and only found a €20 bill. The other two, totaling €40, had disappeared. I don't know what the ATM camera is for if you're just going to keep other people's money. Even though they know the other €20 is genuine, they say they're going to send it to the Bank of Spain for verification. It was a horrible experience. To be honest, the customer service was very good, but whoever operates the ATMs is a shameless thief.
Solution: Change banks.

The way the director (I'm writing "Mr." because he specifically asked me to address him formally) treated me is shameful and deplorable.

He has the ability to resolve the issue of improper commission charges, as he has done for some clients I know, but he simply told me that we're in the digital age and that I should file a complaint online. That's how well, kindly, and attentively he treats his clients, always ready to "work."

Furthermore, he refused to give me documentation that I requested and that he is obligated to provide to clients upon request, and that's a bit more serious than just making fun of me.

I don't know the reason for his inhumane treatment of his clients, but I would like to remind him that if it weren't for the clients, he wouldn't be sitting in that position.

A terrible experience with both the manager and one of his employees. The worst service I've ever received at a bank. In the half hour I was there, I saw other customers with similar complaints, and they spoke rudely and with a contemptuous attitude.
