The Eastern district stretches along the coast from La Malagueta beach to the village-like fishing quarter of El Palo. It contains some of the city's most distinctive areas: La Malagueta (urban beach next to the port), Pedregalejo (palm-lined seafront paseo, traditional espetos), El Palo (working fishing community and casual chiringuitos), and El Limonar / Cerrado de Calderón (residential hillside with sea views). Local buses 11 and 34 connect the entire strip to the city centre. The seafront promenade is continuous and walkable end-to-end.

Tapas restaurant full of locals, quite quick and friendly service. 4 tapas was enough for a bigger dinner for 2 people.
+ Good food and sizes.
+ When we were ordering, the waiter told us proactively that it is enough. We still ended up ordering an extra mango salad, but it’s nice that he was not pushing us to order more.
+ Tapas were not coming at once, but one after another and we never had to wait much once we finished, so we always had some warm food to eat. The waiter (a man) was very dynamic.
We ate Alfachofa en flo (flower of an artichoke), croquettas sepia (cuttlefish croquettes), huevos rotos con gambas (slightly spicy shrimps with some potatoes and fried eggs) and mango salad. Additionally, there was some bread given to us, however, later it appeared on a bill 1.5 EUR. We drank a nice non-alcoholic beer tostada.
A lovely place to eat, great staff. Recommended alcachofa en flor (artichoke), revuelto gambas (scrambles). Good wine, and they opened the bootle of wine in front of you. Need to booked the table, really busy.
Another fantastic place to eat typical tapas in Malaga. Waiters were super friendly and available also. Croquetas, queso and amazing tomato jam…. 🤤🤤🤤!
Even the desert was niom niom niom ! If you are close to the Pedregalejo beach Go there it’s delicious !!!
Decent selection of food, tapas available
Tried the Porra nice flavour, some croquettes and 2 flavours of mini hamburgers
The tableware needs attention to and it will also enhance the food presentation
