I had the pleasure of staying locally to Bar 97 and from my first visit it became a firm favourite. Food is a tapas style with a good value menu. My son and I have serious food allergies and they were able to fully accommodate our needs. A shout out to all the staff, Sue, Debs, Denise and all - you work so hard to make everyone happy. Special shout out to the chef and staff behind the scenes who keep Bar97 a place to return to. Thanks for making our holiday even better 🥰. Debbie, Dave and JJ xx

Having lived in calahonda for many years and visiting bar 97 often during this time we were very disappointed this evening, we went up watch the football, (which we have done many times over the years) nobody else was there, after asking the barman put the football on for us, we asked for it to be turned up as he had music playin, he turned the tv up a little but we still couldn't hear over the music, even though we were the only people there he didn't seem to care we couldn't hear. So we paid for our drinks (we were planning to eat) took my bottle of wine and went down the strip. Very very disappointing, bring back peter....I think unless you are a regular the new owners not interested in you. In my experience you should look after your customers

Lovely warm friendly atmosphere. Has a lovely local vibe and the sort of place you could go even on your own. Very comfortable 😌

Unsure where to go for tea, decided to try Bar97 and found it to be a little treasure.

The food was spot on and great value for money. Served tapas style, even though you could have beef hotpot, steak pie, shepherds pie, etc, I was in heaven.

Friendly service, good food and a few beers to wash it all down, will definitely be returning (will need to return to try some of the other offerings).

First time ok but found Sue the bar staff bit rude the owner was lovely but second time found Sue (if that was her name) lived opposite to be very rude, asking us if we really needed a double!!! Think she wanted to close but was 11pm made us feel very uncomfortable will not visit again
