We visited Antequera for a long weekend and it was our wedding anniversary so we told the restaurant when we booked the table for dinner, and we were nicely surprised with a beautiful table arrangement with flower petals and heart shaped candles. The food was good, we ordered the parrillada de ibérico and it was a massive amount of meats for 2 people! It was good quality also. But be prepare to eat or take leftovers home like we did.

We chose this restaurant because it looked busier than others nearby. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by a gentleman with silver hair, he was the highlight of the service.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. We were shown to a table next to a very loud child, but when we asked to move (with plenty of free tables available), it felt awkward, almost like we were being difficult rather than simply wanting a more peaceful spot.
It took a long time to place our order. The two young women serving seemed unhappy, never smiled, and gave the impression they didn’t want to be there. The atmosphere felt joyless and unwelcoming.
The food itself was fine in taste but nothing memorable, small portions, presented plainly, and not worth the wait.
Overall, this isn’t a place I’d return to. Good customer service can make or break a meal out, and apart from the gentleman who greeted us, the service here was poor. A real shame.

One of the best places we have eaten in the southern area. Every plate was delicious. Reservations are highly recommended. Kitchen doesn't close during siesta hours, which is a PLUS for tourist.

This is about as good as it gets here in Antequerra food wise.
Just simply delicious and more than enough. Perhaps the kitchen is a bit over enthusiastic. But my goodness they can cook and know how we like our meat. Yummy. The service is also super. Especially compliments for the lovely English speaking lady thanks again for taking such good care. We will come back for a dessert after we had a good rest and good night sleep and we are sure those will be great as well.
To all. Job well done. Thanks 😊 so much.

Beautiful food and lovely helpful service. We were very happy with our meals and the wine. Would recommend wholeheartedly. Perfectly cooked hake, the tenderest pork ribs and superb starters. Substantial portions. Will definitely revisit.
