If you have qualifications and work experience abroad, they'll waste your time and money making you translate documents just in case, one day, you get lucky and something in your field comes up and they decide to look at your profile.
You're better off looking at private companies and forgetting about this outdated system based on pointless paperwork. They just pass the buck and seem to have forgotten what they're even there for.
