I'm from Alberta Canada and KNOW steak. This, was hands down, the best ribeye I've ever had.

Gluten free options for my son were et iful and informed. Not just an after thought. Even had gluten free bread!

The service sucks, the food is okay, but service is just speechless and without communication with customers, nothing will work. The food was okay, but I've never seen service like this. The cocktail was made so badly that it immediately fell apart. How can that be? I can only call this place a tourist trap. And the fries are a complete disaster, hard as a shoe, and in oil like they've been fried since the beginning of the season and haven't been changed. Burnt and hard as a brick. There's no cheese in the blue cheese sauce, just butter.

Yesterday, my friend and I visited this restaurant. We ordered a beef steak with a drink.
The steak was tasty — I can’t say it was bad — but the fries were a disaster. The drink was also a disaster.

Now let’s talk about the service… oh my God. I have never seen service like this before. It was worse than bad. The waitress was very arrogant, did not smile, did not speak English, and did not recommend anything from the menu.

I also want to focus on an important point, especially because I myself work in an Italian restaurant in Germany. The waitress went outside in front of our eyes while our food had not arrived yet. She went out smoking a cigarette and did not take off the apron she was wearing. This is very disrespectful.

Where is the restaurant owner? They should control their staff.
When it was time to pay, she brought the bill and left immediately, laughing and chatting with her colleague.

Unfortunately, it was a very bad experience. As someone who works as a head waiter in a well-known restaurant in Germany, I can say that with this kind of service, I will of course not leave a tip. One star is already too much for you.

Do you know why? Even if the food is good, when the service is bad, everything is bad.

Great location on the harbour. Adjacent to super yacht berths. I feel for watching the world go by. Attentive staff. Good food.

I visited this restaurant with my son for dinner on the 13th of October 2025, during his fall break. Was very well greeted by the entire staff, always ready to suggest and help with anything needed. Had a very nice table, two steaks, fries, one beer for me, and shared some water as well. Finished it off with sharing a brownie with a scoop of ice cream. Great experience, a bit pricy, but to be expected at such a touristic location. We left maybe at around 21:30. Next morning both of us didn’t fell well, soon after getting up, nausea kicked in, diarrhea, vomiting, the works.. needless to say that it destroyed completely our next two days of vacation, for example we lost our money on pre-booked activities, and had to drive to the next city/hotel with these symptoms.. not a pleasure at all as you can imagine. And what an impact someone in a fancy restaurant kitchen can have, without even realizing.. I’m writing this on the third day still feeling a bit my stomach and head. Therefore I really hope the restaurant takes the matter seriously, and makes sure that whatever is provided to guests has the utmost quality and is appropriately stored, so it doesn’t get bad, and this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
