About the neighbourhood: Distrito Centro

Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

Just came for a couple of drinks, and it was super pleasant. You go through the hotel lobby and then take the elevator to the terrace. It was dark by the time we got there, but even then, the view was really nice. I enjoyed the mojitos. They were fairly strong, so I wouldn't say it's one of those places that's really stingy with the alcohol. I think the drinks were 12 euros each. Bartenders were really, really nice, even when we asked for a refill on the nuts for the fifth time 😅 The bartender called Victor even came over with extra nuts the second time we visited without us asking. They had heating out (was there in January) so it wasn't too cold even though it was outdoors on a terrace.
