One of the most popular restaurants in Malaga or perhaps even in Spain!!, and honestly, I wasn’t sure what all the hype was about, so I decided to check it out myself. Wow… it did not disappoint!
El Pimpi is loved by locals and tourists alike, and it really does feel like a must see spot.
and I completely fell in love with this place. I went twice and enjoyed both visits.
The food is incredible, the pork literally melted in my mouth, and even the avocado salad was fresh and delicious. The service is friendly, relaxed, and really attentive but not rushed us at all. Both times, the bill was around €38, which felt like such a great deal.
Highly recommend!

Such a unique place and an absolute MUST! Every corner has beauty in it.

Be prepared though the place is HUGE and a bit of a maze,it’s also full of disorientated tourists taking photos.

We went for lunch and ordered the burgers which by the way were outstanding! Absolutely delicious.

I’d love to go back to this place one day for dinner and more drinks as they looked sensational too. The staff and service was great. Overall, would recommend with both hands! 🙌🏼

El Pimpi completely lived up to the hype and excelled in every single aspect. Other reviews always rave about the vibrant, historic atmosphere and the incredibly attentive service, and our experience was no different, the energy here is unmatched.
We started with their tinto de verano, which was perfectly refreshing and easily the best we had on our trip. Food-wise, the Spanish omelet (tortilla) was absolute perfection so flavorful and amazingly prepared. We also ordered a few of their signature "light bites" (local tapas) which were fantastic. Whether you sit inside among the famous wine barrels or out on the terrace, this place is a must-visit. Excellent food, great drinks, and flawless service. We will definitely be back!

Honestly was a real mix. Have heard great things about this place so thought we’d try it.

Upon arrival, we asked if there were vegan options as one of our party was vegan. We were reassured yes there were! And were shown to our table.

There were only two vegan options - the avocado and sundried tomato salad, which was fine just boring. And the red pepper salad - wow do not get this. It’s literally just a bowl of soggy red peppers, nothing else. Texture not great.

The meat dishes were delicious (seabass and pork) so go for those as they are clearly the specialty and we were super impressed there.

Waiters were busy and working very hard so although we didn’t get super fast service, I can’t complain as they were doing well given how busy it was!

A very beautiful restaurant with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. The prices are a bit higher than the places we’ve visited before, but the quality of the food.
We absolutely recommend this restaurant and think it’s well worth trying if you’re looking for a special dining experience.
